Overview
The Arrival explores how profound the immigrant experience can be by delving into the emotions associated with being uprooted from one world and transplanted into another. Drawing from Masoomah’s journey of culture shock, bewilderment and fascination upon arriving in Australia from her family farm in Afghanistan, feelings are evoked through a rich tapestry of ethnic motifs.
