I WAS THERE, part II (2024)

Overview

Newly discovered 16mm footage from the US Army archives shows the barren land of Hiroshima and raises questions about war tactics against humanity that permeate the present. I WAS THERE is a trilogy of experimental documentaries about the problem of radiation, our society’s fading collective memory of the atomic bombing and the unresolved debate between ethics and science.
